205 Fire Safety 1, 2 & R
Instructional time “Level 1” 202-1 – 3.5 hours

Target Audience

This program was designed for all workers that may need to use fire safety equipment. It is ideal for organizations that would like to provide their staff with additional safety knowledge that could be used at home or at work.

Learning Objective

The objective of this program is to enable participants to understand the risk and safely manage an incident involving fire.

Learning Outcome

The outcome of this class will enable participants to:

  • Understand the triangle of fire.
  • Understand the hazards related to combustion and fire.
  • Learn about the types of fire extinguishing equipment.
  • Learn how to safely use fire extinguishers. *
  • Understand when it’s time to go.

Fire Safety “Level 2” 205-2 – 6.5 hours

The level two program was specially designed for fire supervisory staff and professional safety workers. We will expand on the topics mentioned above. All participants will use a fire extinguisher on a live fire, and a live fire drill will be provided by a municipal Fire Department. Note: two months pre-booking is required.

Fire Safety “Review” 205-R – 1.5 hours

The review program will expand on existing knowledge and will review all components of the 205-1 program.
