Target Audience

This seminar is specifically designed for workers that are required to work with Respiratory Protective Equipment.

Learning Objective

Provide employers, supervisors and workers with the information needed to understand breathing hazards, ways to reduce or eliminate hazards, respiratory protection equipment, and fitting and maintenance of equipment.

Delivery Method

The Hazard recognition and control class is divided into three parts:

  • Theory
  • Table top exercise &
  • Practical case study

Participants will create a respiratory hazard assessment and produce a safe work practice specific to their workplace

Respirator “Breath Safer” 204-R – 1.5 hours

The review program is designed for workers who have already taken 204-1 previously. This session will expand on existing knowledge and will provide an overview of the components of the 204-1 program.
