Target Audience

This program is intended for all workers that may be required to use any type of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

Learning Objective

The PPE seminar is intended to provide the participent with guidelines on proper selection, use and maintenance of their PPE.

Learning Outcome

The outcome of this class will enable participants to:

  • Have a personal protection strategy.
  • Understand the general concept of PPE.
  • Do a workplace survey for the need of PPE.
  • Properly select PPE.
  • Properly fit and wear PPE.
  • Properly maintain PPE.
  • Understand the responsibilities.
  • Meet WCB requirements for worker’s training in PPE.

Personal Protection Equipment 203-R – 3 hours

The review program is designed for workers who have already taken 203-1 previously. This session will expand on existing knowledge and will provide an overview of the components of the 203-1 program.
